&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It is hard to estimate an accuracy in such a case.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The magnetometer requires calibrating not only for its own offset, but also against spurious magnetic fields resulting from any nearby ferromagnetic components on the circuit board.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>FXOS8700 compass heading  accuracy</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If the&amp;nbsp;FXOS8700 is installed at fixed location. i.e. we &lt;STRONG&gt;cannot&lt;/STRONG&gt; rotate/tilt the device to let the e-compass to do auto calibration. What is the expectation on the accuracy on the compass heading ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
