    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Phani,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Yes, you can use the MPL3115A2 embedded temperature sensor&lt;/SPAN&gt; to read the temperature value continuously, although since the sensor is closed under air sealed box (no exposure with ambient air), you will not be reading the ambient temperature but the temperature inside the MPL3115A2.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Temperature reading are taken from the internal ADC and it would read the internal die temperature which is used for the pressure compensation of the pressure output more than to be used as an “ambient temperature sensor” so it is not recommended to use it that way if the temperature accuracy is an important feature of your application.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have a great day,&lt;BR /&gt;Jose&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
