We have the following 2 option for this kit:

LFSTBEB8450: This kit includes the MMA8450 development board, a USB cable and the Quick Start Guide. You can see a picture of this board on the following link: http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=LFSTBEB8450

RD3924MMA8450Q: This kit includes the same than the LFSTBEB8450 (MMA8450 development board, a USB cable and the Quick Start Guide) and includes the LFSTBUSB communications board (which is needed to use the development boards if you don’t have one already). You can see a picture of these boards on the following links:

LFSTBEB8450: http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=LFSTBEB8450

LFSTBUSB: http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=LFSTBUSB

The board that you see on the Farnell link was a prototype board which is no longer manufactured. The reason of why we designed this development kit this way it’s due to the portability, you can use daughter (dip) boards from other sensors (MMA845x, MAG3110, etc) using the same USB and connectivity boards from this kit.

About the dimensions of these boards…

LSFTBUSB size: 47x54mm, height of 11mm

LFSTBEB8450 Connectivity board size: 32x32mm, height of 12mm

LFSTBEB8450 Daughter (dip) board size: 12x26mm, height of 10mm

*The three board assembled height is about 22mm

LFSTBEB8450 dimensions

I'm interested in using the MMA8450Q sensor with development and communications board (RD3924MMA8450Q or LFSTBEB8450), but it important to know the dimensions.

Additionally I would like to know the exact implementation because I found ambiguous pictures on the website. Farnell show a low built type: http://nl.farnell.com/freescale-semiconductor/rd3924mma8450q/mma8450q-accelerometer-dev-kit/dp/1796119?in_merch=true&MER=i-9b10-00001460

which would be excellent for my application. Your website, however, shows a different (higher built):

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=LFSTBEB8450&fr=gtl

So I would like to know what are the exact dimensions and what does is look like.
