the document shows up to Android 4.0.

it seems that 5.1 was added many "MUST" requirements for sensors from 4.0.

Does Freescale has any plan that support the requirement in Android 5.1 CCD or later at this moment?

Indeed, Freescale will support Android 5.0 eventually; unfortunately we do not have an estimated date for that.
