    <description>&lt;P&gt;AN13539 Describes the configuration of the OM-SE050ARD board for I2C and for ISO14443 (NFC) connectivity, but doesn't mention configuration for making the chip talk directly to an ISO7816 card reader.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can any one provide me with:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) The jumper setup for the board for ISO7816?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) The mapping between the board signals and the signals on an ISO7816 connector.&amp;nbsp; For reference the ISO pins are,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;C1 - VCC; C2-RST; C3 CLK; C4 - n/c; C5 GND; C6 VPP; C7 - I/O; C8 n/c&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm assuming I need to connect at least C1, C3, C5 and C7, and I may need to connect to C2.&amp;nbsp; Looking at the datasheet for the SE050 I *think* that means something like:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;C1 -&amp;gt; Pin 18 Vcc -&amp;gt; j11-1&amp;nbsp; (or C1 -&amp;gt; Pin 12 Vin -&amp;gt; J11-2??)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;C2 -&amp;gt; Pin 14 Rst -&amp;gt; J11-3 (or tie pin 14 to ground?)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;C3 -&amp;gt; Pin 13 Clk -&amp;gt; J11-6&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;C5 -&amp;gt; Pin 19 Vss (ground) -&amp;gt; J11-7&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;C7 -&amp;gt; Pin 3 ISO7816 IO1 -&amp;gt; J11-9&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and maybe J11-1 to J11-10 (Enable to Vcc)?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks - Mike&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Mike!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The schematic is better shown in&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.nxp.com/downloads/en/schematics/SE050ARD-SCH.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.nxp.com/downloads/en/schematics/SE050ARD-SCH.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The Jumpers J28 - J34 are shorted by a wire on the PCB.&lt;BR /&gt;So the ISO 7816 signals are available on the DB-15 connector contacts J3 and the pin-header J11.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The probe IN-CLA7816 mentioned in the hardware overview application note is available at Ashling:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.ashling.com/ashling-nxp-smart-card-ic/" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.ashling.com/ashling-nxp-smart-card-ic/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This can be directly inserted into a reader like a card.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Correct:&lt;BR /&gt;C1 -&amp;gt; Pin 18 Vcc -&amp;gt; J11-1 (other possibilities see AN13539, "4.2 Power supply options")&lt;BR /&gt;C2 -&amp;gt; Pin 14 Rst -&amp;gt; J11-3 (do not fix to ground, otherwise no proper activation will be possible)&lt;BR /&gt;C3 -&amp;gt; Pin 13 Clk -&amp;gt; J11-6&lt;BR /&gt;C5 -&amp;gt; Pin 19 Vss -&amp;gt; J11-7&lt;BR /&gt;C7 -&amp;gt; Pin 3 ISO7816 IO1 -&amp;gt; J11-9&lt;BR /&gt;No special jumper configuration required for this setup.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;With best regards&lt;BR /&gt;Gerald&lt;/P&gt;</description>
