&lt;P&gt;The examples are provided to work out of the box. As your code gets stuck in Uart_GetStatus() the first time it is used, it looks like the receiver in this case UART_RX has a problem. Verify that the pins are connected correctly,&amp;nbsp;Lpuart instance 0, communicates with Flexio instance 0 channel 0 for Rx, and channel 1 for Tx.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone,&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I have an evaluation board with a s32k118. I progam with S32 Design Studio and use S32K1 AUTOSAR 4.4 - R21 RTD 2.0.0 D2308 Example Projets for the uart_Eample_S32118.
