Regarding Restart a process

Hello,

When I use SDK examples with debug_ram, the error occurred and the code didn't implement normally after RESTART as below, could you explain about this symptom? Is it normal behavior?

Hello Kate,

This behavior is due to the PEmicro firmware that all the EVBs have. When you click the restart button on the IDE the debugger is restarting the MCU hence you are losing the program since it's in RAM. As a workaround, you could change the firmware of the on-board debugger to JLink instead of PEmicro. The JLink debug configurations have an option to make the restart works even if you are running from RAM.
