Use SDK based example code as standalone with S32DS v3.4

Dear sirs,

SDK code in examples is "linked" into project by default and there is a great tutorial to change this to be standalone. HOWTO: Use SDK based example code as standalone (usable for GIT, SVN...)

But for S32DS v3.4, there is no ProcessorExpert.pe file within the project. Is it possible to achieve this purpose with S32DS v3.4? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
