S32 Design Studio missing license

I have just installed S32 Design Studio 3.4 but get an issue with regard to missing licence and Software Activation Code Error.

During installation I am able to enter the activation key (B3F0-FBDB-8F7C-C2AB) and the product will run. However, if I restart my PC I get an error message telling me that the licence is now missing!

If I try to reactivate, I get the following error message:

CLLReason[errorNo=16,errorString=Error creating activation handle. (FNP error 50003,71000,10104),flxActMajorErrorNo=50003, flxActMinorErrorNo=71000,flxActSysErrorNo=10104,flxCommErrorNo=0]

The only way to get going again is to reinstall the software. This is obviously not very productive. The other alternative is to never switch my PC off!!

The product I am trying to activate is SW32V23-S32DS-D_96037477.

Hello @gordonp,

I'm surprised the activation code worked at all. The activation code you provided is for S32 Design Studio for Vision v2018.R1, but you have used it to activate S32 Design Studio for S32 Plaform v3.4. This will not work and would explain the issues you are having.

I checked your account. I can see you do have an activation code for S32 Design Studio v3.4. To protect your information, I'll just share the first 4 characters: C7AB

Please use the activation code attached to your account which starts with the above 4 characters. It should resolve your issue.

this might be caused by conflict with some another product using different version of license service.

Could you please check service version - it can be found from file properties:

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Macrovision Shared\FlexNet Publisher\FNPLicensingService64.exe"

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Macrovision Shared\FlexNet Publisher\FNPLicensingService.exe"

And could you please send workspace log - it could be found in .metadata folder in workspace directory

Thanks for your reply. I have now tried using the correct key (C7AB-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx). It worked initially, but when I restarted my PC this morning I still get "License Missing" error and -

when I try to re-enter the key. So, basically, no improvement!

FNPLicensingService.exe version is 11.15.0.0 build 215548
