Attempting to update an existing installation of S32DS with the S32K3xx development package update. When Design Studio starts, it shows S32K3xx development package EAR 1 in the list. I check the box in order to install it but S32 comes back with a dialog indicating the S32K3xx development package version 3.4.1 EAR1 could not be installed for the following reasons. Any ideas on what I have to do to get this package installed?

Operation detailsSoftware being installed: com.nxp.s32ds.s32k3.dev.feature.feature.group 1.0.0.202107291522 Software currently installed: com.pemicro.debug.gdbjtag.pne.feature.feature.group 4.8.3.202012091622 Only one of the following can be installed at once: [com.pemicro.debug.gdbjtag.pne 5.0.7.202107261518, com.pemicro.debug.gdbjtag.pne 4.8.3.202012091622] Cannot satisfy dependency: com.nxp.s32ds.s32k3.dev.feature.feature.group 1.0.0.202107291522 depends on: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu; com.pemicro.debug.gdbjtag.pne.feature.feature.group 5.0.7 Cannot satisfy dependency: com.pemicro.debug.gdbjtag.pne.feature.feature.group 4.8.3.202012091622 depends on: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu; com.pemicro.debug.gdbjtag.pne [4.8.3.202012091622,4.8.3.202012091622] Cannot satisfy dependency: com.pemicro.debug.gdbjtag.pne.feature.feature.group 5.0.7.202107261518 depends on: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu; com.pemicro.debug.gdbjtag.pne [5.0.7.202107261518,5.0.7.202107261518]

Hello @timothyschnobel,

This is a known issue and our development team is already working on a solution.

As a workaround, please use the legacy Eclipse tool 'Install New Software' and then select the same archive file as you used for S32K3, SW32K3_S32DS_3.4.1_D2108.zip. Check the box for 'GNU ARM PEMicro Interface Debugging Support', version 5.0.7....

After the S32DS reboots, you should be able to return to S32DS Extensions and Updates and install the S32K3xx development package v3.4.1 EAR1 without issue.

Best Regards,

Mike
