S32 Design studio different version

There are 2 IDEs for SW development, currently we are using 2018.R1 for S32K144 device

Updates and patches for this version was released last in 2019.

Shall we continue use this IDE or do we need to switch to 2.2?

Hi,

if you are okay with your current setup - you can continue with developing in your old environment. But there is no update plan for this old version. The Latest S32DS Version supporting S32K1xx devices is S32DS v3.4 - https://nxp.flexnetoperations.com/control/frse/download?agree=Accept&element=12367047
