The datasheet explicitly says that the bus is biased to GND in standby mode to minimize current consumption:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper" image-alt="pastedImage_1.png"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/106966iB5A75771177C72ED/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="pastedImage_1.png" alt="pastedImage_1.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The application hints AH1014 then also describes how to deal with this situation using SPLIT pin.
