S32K148 clock configuration

In SDK development kit, the clock configuration of S32K148 is 8M external crystal oscillator. Can it support 16M crystal oscillator?8M external crystal oscillator is recommended or must be 8M external crystal oscillator？

Hi,

for S32K148 you can use external oscillator from 4 to 40 MHz. There are two modes used in SDK for system OSC range select - medium for 4-8 MHz crystals and high for 8-40MHz crystals:

Thank you for your reply！It's too much trouble to delete things I don't need myself in your SDK，so I want to create my own SDK. Do you have any tutorials？

Hi,

actually - there is no such tutorial. There is couple non-SDK examples for S32K144, you can modify them and use with S32K148.

Examples are part of S32DS Installation. Just click on File -> New -> Project from Example and choose one which you are interested in:
