S32DS - S32K3XX - Compilation - GCC - Segmentation fault

Hello,

I'm running into an segmention fault when using GCC Compiler in S32DS. Sometimes compilation works without any problem; sometimes it fails on a different C-File; sometimes on the same C-File.

Compiler Error-Message:

internal compiler error: Segmentation fault

Any ideas what could be the problem?

My OS Version is Win10 - 22H2, S32DS-Version is Version: 3.5 - Build id: 240924 (Update 14), GCC Version:

NXP GCC for Arm Embedded Processors 9.2 Build 1649

NXP GCC for Arm Embedded Processors 10.2 Build 1728

I suggest try to re-install S32DS, it is possible that some depending library may be corrupted in msys32.

I've reinstalled everything today. But still having Segmention Faults.

Just before I also see something like this:

cc1.exe: warning: C:/NXP/S32DS.3.5/S32DS/build_tools/gcc_v10.2/gcc-10.2-arm32-eabi/arm-none-eabi/lib/include/newlib-nano: No such file or directory

Which is just confusing me.

Also Realtime-Debugging as descibed here does not work for me:

Hi,

installed packages looks okay. Unfortunately have no other idea what you can test or change. I never met such issue before and if it behaves randomly and only on one machine its really hard to find the cause of it.

Just to be clear - it is related only to one project or couple projects are affected - like examples and So on?

I did not check with example projects But I think I can life with it. When I hit build button a few times it works without any segmention fault. Thats ok for me an I can work with it.

It looks like that the GCC segmention fault is somehow related to parallel builds. When I disable parallel builds the segmention fault occur less.

Thanks for info, I'm afraid that it is just because less instances of gcc processes is running. But still it is very first time when I met such issue.
