S32M RTD support

Version 3.0.0 P07 claims to support S32M. I installed it, but cannot select anything other than S32K when I create a new project. There isn't any example code available, either.

How can I get a version of the RTDs that supports the S32M?

Hi,

Once you add the "SW32K3_RTD_R21-11_3.0.0_P07_D2306_DS_updatesite.zip" to S32DS v3.5 you should see both S32K3 and S32M2 RTD's. You should install the S32M RTD itself. The RTD version supports the platform, but it is through a different package, as seen below:

When I try to install these, I receive an error:

Operation details Software being installed: com.nxp.RTD.S32M276.root.feature.feature.group 3.0.0.202303311831 Missing requirement: com.nxp.RTD.S32M276.root.feature.feature.group 3.0.0.202303311831 requires 'org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu; com.nxp.s32ds.s32m2.dev.feature.feature.group 1.0.0' but it could not be found

I have the following installed:

RTD S32M276 3.0.0.202306300010 com.nxp.RTD.S32M276.feature.feature.group NXP Semiconductors, Inc.
S32 Design Studio 3.5.3.202306291736 com.nxp.s32ds.platform.ide.feature.feature.group NXP
S32 Design Studio Tools 3.5.3.202306291736 com.nxp.s32ds.platform.ide.tools.feature.feature.group NXP
S32DS Product 3.5.0.202207261815 com.nxp.s32ds.platform.ide.product NXP

What am I missing?

Thanks for the information.

The missing package "com.nxp.s32ds.s32m2.dev.feature.feature.group 1.0.0" is the development package for S32M platforms. It seems that it is not installed on your setup.

If you cannot find it on your available SW, then help us contacting your local NXP FAE/DBM, for them to verify if your account has the available information.
