S32G274A - HUGE blob file

working on S32DS 3.5 , RTD 4.0.1 on the GOLDBOX (RDB2)

Starting from NXP example project Dio_ToggleLed_S32G274A_M7, the project runs perfect

followed the steps in : https://community.nxp.com/t5/S32-Design-Studio-Knowledge-Base/HOWTO-Use-IVT-Tool-To-Create-A-Blob-Image-S32G274A/ta-p/1125675

Built and created the bin file, also created the DCD file

when exporting blob file, its 875MB !!!

Of coarse can't be written to flashed and the flash tool says its too large

in the IVT tool everything looks perfect

the size of the image looks OK, all else as well

What is wrong here?

Why is the blob file so large?

The problem is that in the Application bootloader section, before exporting blob file, the image file should be selected as the one from the Generated image file (aka the full application image file) => VERY CONFUSING , and un associative

(instead of put it in the UI in a place that the user can understand that it should be selected)

Anyway when selecting the 'generated image file' - everything is OK and the FLASH is written OK
