Hi All,

I am fighting with the install of S32 Design Studio 3.5.

seems this is probably a common issue, but its solution evades me.

I have tried running the installer as admin, and also as admin in win7 mode, and as normal user in win 7 mode.

same result in all cases, the installation rolls back with the message in the title.

I think, looking at other discussions that there might be an invalid license on my machine that it is detecting? how would I go about removing any trace of that?

thanks for any tips you can offer.

Phil

Is there anyone from NXP here who can advise?

Hi,

We apologize for the delay.

You are saying you are working with S32 Design Studio v3.5, is that correct? If so, v3.5 is not compatible with Windows 7. As shown on the Release notes (image below):

For which, we assume the behavior you are seeing could be related to your OS.

Please, let us know.

We have tried:

manually installing and checking Java paths.

running installer in compatibility mode

running installer with admin rights

using both of the two license keys that are on my account.

using online activation.

using offline activation.

All result in the same response, installation rolls back.

I can only think that the license code is incorrect still, but there seems no way to request a new code from NXP.

It is a clean install on a freshly reset windows 11 machine. Reading online this is such a common problem that there must be a clear sequence of steps to work through?
