Hi again –

I’ve never used the NXP processors or website. I do have an account and based on other info just downloaded

the eval CodeWarrior. I’m assuming I need a JTAG cable since the board has been bricked. If not I’m open

to any and all direction here.

I set up the switch as described and got no response on the RS232 port but I don’t know the next step after

setting the SW1 switch.

In regard to sign in form I’m not sure where to look.

thanks,

Frank

Hi ufedor –thanks for the help. I got my RCW restored and can now bootup the LINUX. However, in my case the updated RCW didn’t work out. I ended up having to download the binary RCW that

came with the WindRiver BSP and burned that in using the flash programmer.

Another question came up during this process. That is the eval CodeWarrior was actually installed a month ago and with all the PC version of the T2080RDB ( vs the T2080RDB-PB) I never got to use the

eval package. Is there a way to reset the eval clock to give us time to really evaluate the CodeWarrior IDE?

BTW, are the Quick Start guides for the PC and PB accurate in regard to the contents of RCW (Table 4) accurate? There is a difference in word 5 and I don’t know how significant an impact that would

make.

Could it be that the bootrom.bin code is running but needs the SerDes2?

Frank
