QorIQ P1021/12 Processor - is this a popular choice?

I’m trying to ascertain if this is a popular choice of processor (it’s been around for a couple of years now). It’s on

freescales longevity program i.e. will be manufactured for a minimum of 10 years which is key to us.

(i.e an upgrade from previous generations of power quick processors 860, 8260, 8360 etc )

The P1021 family hasn't been around that long - maybe a year. It's been pretty popular and should be around for a long time to come.
