hello every one....

I am facing a problem in customized mpc8548 board. please help me.

We are using a customized mpc8548 board. After loading

flash the processor is not booting i checked the CS0# signal on

power on, it was always high. Although the same code is running

through Code Warrior jtag prob and it is generating CS0# signals

where i got a pulse train. And this running code is ROM version

which i selected in JTAG CW tool without any initialization file.

But when i loaded the elf file of same code into the flash. there

was no CS0# signal appearing. Please suggest. Is it related to

some start up code problem? Please tell us.

Just post recommendation for other users to refer to:

Take a look at the MPC8548 HW specifications, table with pinout listing contains notes against some pins, notes under the table contain recommendations about specific termination. Use a scope and check that all recommendations are really met, meaning that resulting voltage at the pins are really correct.

I didn't understand very well your problem. You're trying to run the default ROM application from CodeWarrior? Reading above description, I understood that it works when you make debug using CW, but I didn't understand the case when it's not working. Please be more verbosely about your scenario.
