1) The CodeWarrior TAP itself does not require any licensing, CodeWarrior IDE - does.

2) The CodeWarrior IDE is a must.

3) Possibly - yes, but this was not tested because CodeWarrior has its own C-compiler.

4) It is impossible to compare "lauterbach debugger and codewarrior tap" because Trace32 can be compared only with CodeWarrior IDE.

Hi.

We are developing a product using MPC8349E. We are planning to buy CWH-CTP-BASE-HE along with CWH-CTP-COP-YE. I have the following clarifications on the same.

1. Whether the above part number if purchased will support all the power architectures like powerquicc I, II,II Pro, T-Series, P-Series or there will be different licensing options that needs to be purchased separately.

2. Is it mandatory to purchase Codewarrior IDE for using the tool or there is a debugging IDE supplied along with the tool.

3. Can this be integrated with Windriver workbench IDE with DIAB compiler.

4. What is the difference between lauterbach debugger and codewarrior tap with regard to feature set.

Thanks and Regards

Harish Kumar
