I am not able to program the flash which is interfaced to the Power PC. When monitored the LWE (write enable) signal we are getting high, where as in other working boards its pulsing. May i know how to rectify this?

Thanks,

Samyukta

We have replaced the board with new flash IC.

3) Is the LWE probed directly on the processor's pin?

The processor pin is interfaced with a resistor(33 ohm) to the flash. We probed at the resistor end.

4) Please use a debugger, execute write operation to the Flash LBC memory bank (chip-select) and check the LWE0 behaviour.

Please use a debugger to ensure that settings of LBC registers are identical on operational and problem boards.

If the LBC settings are identical, please perform the ABA swap - i.e. interchange processors between operational and problem boards.
