Typically if there is such &amp;nbsp;restriction then device reference manual describes that. For example the MPC8548e manuals says: For proper PCI Express operation, the CCB clock frequency must be greater than (500MHz)*(PCI Express link width) /8&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TIC&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
