Hi,

I am working on MPC8323E-RDB Board and I am using Linux2.6.20.6-rt8. I am trying to access UART2 on board. But I am not able to recognize which device is available for UART2. Is there any way to print data on UART2 directly by using device or can I create device for it?

I am using LTIB for cross compilation. Is LTIB will support for device creation and mapping?

Regards,

V JYOTHI.

According to board schematic, I see only one UART is routed out, for UART2 I do not see standard DB-9 connector.

I see only several signals UART2_* internally routed to header for internal use, but these signals have TTL levels, and can not be used as UART without TTL to RS-232 converter type MAX3232 or similar.

Have a great day,
Alexander

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
