Hi,

I don't know if I'm missing something here but I can't find the SofTec USB SPYDER anymore in the device/connection wizard. Did anybody managed to work with CW10.1 and this small BDM?

And I have a second question: If I start the processor expert bean wizard then I get an error message about a missing licence.

Any ideas to these problems?

Thanks and bye,

Using of Component wizard is restricted to this license, for more details please follow this link:

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/homepage.jsp?code=CW_HOME

best regards
Vojtech Filip
Processor Expert Support Team

Hi,

I meant the free special edition. So the wizard is not licenced in the SE? I only want to know this, but it is no real problem for me. A bigger problem is the USB SPYDER tool. Maybe I ask the SofTec people?

Thanks and bye,

Hello,

yes, you are right - component wizard is not available with SE license. Regarding to Spyder and Eclipse support - I have noticed that this is "end of life product" (as you can see under the following link), it´s probably also why Spyder is not supported in Eclipse:

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=USBSPYDER08

So, I think you have to use CodeWarrior Classic V6.3 instead of Eclipse version of CW.

best regards
Vojtech Filip
Processor Expert Support Team
