Hi,

I am a newbie using MC56F8367 controller. I am trying to figure out how the CAN can be intialised and implemented. It will be great if someone could share the procedure to initialise the CAN.

I am using CW 8.3 standard license and I couldn't find any other beans for CAN other than init bean. Does other beans for CAN come only with Premium license? Please help.

I am using CW 8.3 Special edition not the standard. When I looked up the difference between standard , special and premium, the only difference I could see is the memory code restriction. Is it neccessary to have the premium edition for the CAN beans.

There is possible to buy the FlexCAN license for Freescale CAN component separately as part of 'premium components'. It's offede on online store:

You'll need the 'DLP-568-FLXCN-CX' one.

As far as I know, it's not dependent on what edition of CodeWarrior do you have.
