Hi Folks

I an looking for some documentation about data remanence (eeprom, flash). I am working on a little speech about risks on read/write process and not following manufacturers guidelines.

I have seen some papers online with possibilities on bad erase, but those are not really usable.

is there any paper available?

thanks a lot

Max

Hi Jun

I am refering to MC9S12XE chip Family, highly used in controller units.

I know there are a large number of "theoretical" fails based on data remanence, overwriting, false erasing, .... but would need any kind of paper just to look at it.
