Hello Petar,

Processor Expert is only tool for creating SDK settings like pin settings and other peripheral settings. This means, your project must contain SDK, then you can work with Processor Expert properly.

The easiest way, how to create SDK based project, is select SDK in startup wizard, please see the figures below.

Select microcontroller you want to use and insert project name. Click Next.

Click "three dots" button in the SDKs row...new window will apear, then select appropriate SDK. I recommend to use RTM 3.0.0 SDK only. Click OK then click Finish.

Processor Expert and some other windows will be opened.

If you have any other question, please feel free to write me back.

Regards,

Martin

Hello everybody,

I am new to the NXP s32k family and also new to the s32 design studio.

I have installed latest version and latest update UP9.

I followed few steps form the "Getting started Processor Expert Software –
Microcontrollers Driver Suite" to create simple new project for s432k144 MCU, but I am missing option

Select File > New > Select File > New > Processor Expert Project from the IDE menu bar.

I cannot create new project using Processor Expert, I cannot add processor expert to the new project. I can create new project from example which contains processor expert, and then it works fine.

PE seemed to be installed, but I am missing option to create new project with PE.

Thanks in advanced

Petar Uzunovic
