    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PEx one-time needs to update its databases after installing each SP (updating of cdb files) and in case you start creation of new project during this action it could lead to the behavior as is described.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To avoid the problem please follow one of the steps below (A or B): &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Option A:&lt;BR /&gt;Restart your CW and wait till all progress bar stop running. After that please continue with creation of a new project.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Option B:&lt;BR /&gt;1 - Close CW&lt;BR /&gt;2 - Run PEsrv.exe manually from the following folder: {CodeWarrior}/MCU/ProcessorExpert/&lt;BR /&gt;3 - Wait till it will not allocate any CPU resources&lt;BR /&gt;4 - Start CW&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This behaviour should be imrpoved in CW V10.2.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;best regards&lt;BR /&gt;Vojtech Filip&lt;BR /&gt;Processor Expert Support Team&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Running CW 10.1 with latest updates. &amp;nbsp;When I use the new project wizard to create a new project for a K10 processor the processor expert sits at 50% then times out. &amp;nbsp;Here is the message from the console:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;System directory = C:\Program Files\Freescale\CW MCU v10.1\MCU\ProcessorExpert&lt;BR /&gt;User working directory = C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Processor Expert\CWMCU_PE5_00&lt;BR /&gt;2011-10-28 13:01:01 Connecting to Processor Expert service at localhost:9999 ...&lt;BR /&gt;2011-10-28 13:01:02 Starting local service ...&lt;BR /&gt;2011-10-28 13:01:22 Connecting to Processor Expert service at localhost:9999 ...&lt;BR /&gt;2011-10-28 13:01:22 Sucessfully connected to Processor Expert service, waiting for start-up.&lt;BR /&gt;2011-10-28 13:01:24 Processor Expert successfully started:&lt;BR /&gt;product version: 5.2, product info: for Freescale Microcontrollers, core version: 04.49.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;Timeout for creating PE/DI project. Canceling the Job.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone have any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
