CW10.6 release notes refer to a Processor Expert bug fix as follows:

"ENGR00297465 – Fixed Processor Expert EnterCritical() and ExitCritical() macro implementation for Kinetis family."

I am still using CW10.4 for a Kinetis K20. Is there any way to get more info so I can decided if I need to manually address this bug or consider upgrading to 10.6?

Hello Geo,

I recommend you use the latest version CW10.6.6 (cw10.6.4 with update 6) ,

for the the new one have fixed bugs that old one have , and also have some updates.

And you can also use the KDS3.0 , it also have the Processor Expert , this IDE is free,

you can download and install refer to here :

New Kinetis Design Studio V3.0.0 available

The KSDK1.3 is a kinetis development kit .
