Error: This component not supported in Kinetis SDK Project mode

I am attempting to add a PWM component and am getting this error I also get it when attempting to add a Timer component. What exactly does it mean?

Hello Tom Talkington:

Was the project created with "KSDK" option enabled in the New Project Wizard?

If so, as the error indicates the LDD components cannot be used in KSDK + Processor Expert projects, instead you have the fsl_xxx components.
