When will processor expert be available for Kinetis K70F in MQX?

Hi,

I assume there is a plan to add PE support for K70F. Does anyone know when it will be available?

If I generate some code (e.g., PWM with TimerUnit_LDD) using PE with K40, will the the generated code also work correctly in K70F? Or will the PWM timing be wrong?

Hello,

I think there should be no issue with creating PEx project for K70. This MCU has been already supported in CW V10.2. I would also recomend to install the update MCU 10.2 Update 1.0.0. Please follow the download page below:

Hi Vojtech,

After installing MCU 10.2 Update 1.0.0, I still do not know how PE is enabled for K70. For K40/K60, there is bsp_twrk60n512_pe and bsp_twrk40x256_pe project under MQX3.8_install_directory\mqx\build\cw10 directory, and there is a ProcessorExpert.pe folder for each of them in project panel in CW IDE. I don't see these for K70. Perhaps I missed something. Please show me (as a first time user) how to enable/use PE features for K70 .

BTW, there is no PE specific BSP for kwikstik either.

Hello,

Processor Expert enabled MQX BSP will be available in MQX 3.8.1. In previous versions you can modify the existing PEx BSP for K60 if you need to have this support before 3.8.1 is available.
