Hello,

could you please specify what family of MCUs are you targeting? Generally the Eclipse version of CodeWarrior provides the same set of components as CodeWarrior Classic, so you should be able to use the LCD component (formerly called bean) in the same way as in the Classic version.

In case you have some CodeWarriopr Classic project you can use "Classic Importer feature" from eclipse version of CW to import such project or use steps from this https://community.freescale.com/message/91224#91224

Could you please also specify what compatibility issue do you mean exactly, because I see any LCD component under your link.

Note: The LCD component is from category advanced and you need to have purchased "Professional Suite" to use it or you can buy it separately in PE´s component store.

For FSL licensing policy please see this link

best regards
Vojtech Filip
Processor Expert Support Team

Hello,

please note that LCD component is not the same as TLCD free component. LCD component is delivered within CW installation but TLCD is additional free sw component. However it seems that this issue was already solved within this post:

https://community.freescale.com/message/79700#79700

best regards
Vojtech Filip
Processor Expert Support Team
