Cpu hang(MPC8536) issue

In a specific scenario the cpu hangs and not accessible through debugger(Lauterbach T32) as well. In this case all other peripherals are accessible except the CPU.

So In this how to proceed with debugging the issue.

Appreciate any suggestions

I probably can't help on the technical side, I'm not familiar with the MPC8536. But let me make sure you get your question in the right place. I suspect this has nothing to do with Processor Expert, so I suspect (again) this is probably not the right forum, but let me check by asking first.

First, are you using Processor Expert in your development process? Are you using CodeWarrior tools? If you are using the CodeWarrior tools, then a general programming forum is likely the best spot. That would be the CodeWarrior Coldfire and PowerArchitecture forum. I can shift this topic to that forum - you don't have to do anything. Let me know. If nothing else, it raises the likelihood of a useful response.
