How do I update the U-Boot on P5040DS

I have a P5040DS which currently has a u-boot built in 2013. I need to update this to the U-boot binaries that are in the QorIQ 2.0 SDK. I have tried to follow the instructions in section 4.4 of the QorIQ SDK Documentation. I substitute substitute the fields such as <u-boot_start_addr> for the addresses listed in Table 18 (NOR Flash Memory Map) for the alternate u-boot bank (same for the RCW and FMAN Microcode). However, when I do the pixis_reset altbank, the board just hangs. Can anyone provide the exact steps to use here?

Can you share the u-boot log. I have similar issue but now it is resolved.

Is recommended command sequence used from the Section 4.4.10.8 of the SDK 2.0 Documentation?
