      <title>P1010 CPU stress test</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need to run some kind of software on the P1010 in order for it to maximize the current draw and heat generated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have found some code written in assembly that works really well on the imx6 (it gets really hot), You can have an look at it here:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://ssvb.github.io/2012/04/10/cpuburn-arm-cortex-a9.html" title="http://ssvb.github.io/2012/04/10/cpuburn-arm-cortex-a9.html"&gt;Is your ARM Cortex-A9 hot enough?&lt;/A&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you guys know of any similar software that can run on a PPC CPU?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The stress test for the Cortex A9 uses neon instructions to maximize the power consumption, would it be&lt;BR /&gt;possible to do the same thing on a PPC CPU with the help of altivec instructions?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Daniel&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
