TDA8954TH BTL Mode Module Board AU BTL Output interference

I am using a TDA8954TH BTL Mode Module Board AU for some prototyping work and have a condition which I am struggling to resolve.

The TDA is connected in BTL mode. As I increase drive to the board there is a point where I get severe "break up" as per the attached pic.

The two traces are showing the + and - outputs of the BTL. The signal appears on both traces at the same time.

It does not appear at all until about half max output. Interestingly it is not there when I do not have a load connected.

As best as I can measure this the break up signal is around 40KHz... not the (~300KHz) of the PWM.

It also seems that it occurs earlier with low frequency signals... i.e. more prevalent at 100Hz than 1KHz upwards.

Any suggestions much appreciated.
