Hello Luis,

The PTN3365 is a fully-feature HDMI level shifter which is targeted for DisplayPort to HDMI adapters applications. It features low-swing self-biasing differential inputs which are compliant to the electrical specifications of DisplayPort Standard v1.2 and/or PCI Express Standard v1.1, and open-drain current-steering differential outputs compliant to DVI v1.0 and HDMI v1.4b electrical specifications. The I2C-bus channel actively buffers as well as level-translates the DDC signals for optimal capacitive isolation. PTN3365 also supports power-saving modes in order to minimize current consumption when no display is active or connected.

Have a great day,

Paulina

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note:
- If this post answers your question, please click the "Mark Correct" button.

Hello.

Is PTN3365 ok to convert DP video source (no DP++) to HDMI? We have read that to do that the device must have an active conversion protocol, and we dont really know if PTN3365 has it. Again, what we need is a doggle direct adaptor from simply DP to HDMI video.

Thanks
