Looking for advice on the high-power RF amplifier device needed for HF.

The product selector seems to indicate p/n MRF1K50HR5, but all the ratings are CW.

Would this device be suitable for 375 watts of carrier in Amplitude Modulation? 1500 watts PEP.

Or possibly use two MRF1K50HR5, if needed to maintain linearity.

You can use this transistor for RF AM @ 375W carrier and 1500W PEP.

Device is rated for this power at 27MHz. At higher frequencies somewhat less power can be given.
