Using Segger J-Trace with MCUxpresso Secure Provisioning Tool

Hi,

I want to read and write eFuses of a RT1165 on a custom board. I am using the J-Trace Pro and flashing in IDE works fine, but the Secure Provisioning Tool (SEC) v25.12 is not able to connect to the J-Trace Probe. The connection process abouts in very short time, the opening window collapses instantly. I have changed the Vendor and Product ID already. Are the IDs incorrect, or what am I doing wrong?

You need to connect the USB (demo board or your board ) and set the device in serial downloader mode. Secure provisioning tool is not designed to work with debugger.

Thanks that helps a lot. Is there a dedicated UART or can I use any of these LPUARTs? The Reference Manual is not clear in this point.

It supports the USB1 and LPUART1 ports.
