Hey Everyone,

I'm currently working with the NXP T2080 processor, which is based on the e6500 PowerPC core. I am looking to run virtualized environments using QEMU, ideally with KVM acceleration.

I have a few questions:

Has there been any official or community-developed QEMU patch that fully supports the e6500 core (specifically the T2080)?

Is KVM acceleration functional and stable on the T2080 with QEMU?

Are there any known limitations or issues (e.g., AltiVec, graphical output, Linux guest support)?

Could anyone point me to recent discussions, patches, or documentation about this?

What is the best way to contribute or get involved in improving QEMU support for this architecture?

Any guidance or shared experiences would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
