Hello,

Here an update from internal team:

I tried to build the Firmware according to your command, the board works, and I am able to enable Bitlocker on eMMC.
./buildme64.sh -b MX8M_PLUS_EVK -t all -t profile_secure -bc DEBUG -c

Video tutorial on how to enable Bitlocker:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4aU-P0qu9Y&ab_channel=CyberJunkie

Unfortunately, we have no experience with "custom" modifications and modules, and it is up to customer to implement it.

Best regards.

Hi Team,

I have taken reference source code from WIN10_1.5.0_SOURCE.

I have two quires regarding the reference source.

1. Unable to Turn on BitLocker:

I have built the default reference code with the secure profile enabled.

Build command:

./buildme64.sh -b MX8M_PLUS_EVK -t all -t profile_secure -bc DEBUG -c

After booting to Windows OS and trying to turn on BitLocker, we are unable to enable it.

How to enable Bitlocker in OS ?

2. TPM Not Detected in OS:

I am trying to enable the fTPM feature in i.MX8M Plus with our customized TCG (Trusted Computing group) module. With the reference code, I have successfully ported our TCG2 module, i.e., added fTPM and AuthVar TA binaries, and added OP-TEE based functionalities for Tpm2RequestUseTpm, Tpm2SubmitCommand, and Tpm2RelinquishUseTpm.

With this porting, we are able to see TPM device details in our BIOS setup screen, and the functionality works fine.

However, when we boot to the Windows OS and try the “tpm.msc” command in RUN box (Win + R) , we get the message “Compatible TPM cannot be found.”

We have done UEFI level porting. Do we need to do any other porting to see TPM device details in the OS?

Thanks,

JP
