&lt;P&gt;please see below an answer from an application engineer I have contacted.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;DESCRIPTION&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#0000FF"&gt;The MC33774 VDDC current limitation is given by the Vtrig(VDDC)oc parameter and the Rsense resistor. Above 264mV in the sense resistor can trigger an OC event.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#0000FF"&gt;What do you mean by GPIO internal protection tubes ?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear Louis,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;unfortunately we do not have this value. The GPIO pins are suppose to be supplied from VDDC or VAUX, depending which regulator is assigned. The maximum current capabilities can be found in the MC33774A full datasheet, but both VDDA and VAUX also supply other circuits, so these are also not relevant values.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
