the first question has been answered here SJA1110 Host access point - NXP Community.

Other questions are rather related to S32G, so it would be better if S32G support team suggested on this.

Hello,

I see SPI_HOST and SPI_AP in SJA1110 block diagram, does SJA1110 support SPI_HOST and SPI_AP at the same time?

I have a hardware GLDBOX(S32G-VNP-GLDBOX), the SJA1110 firmware(sja1110_uc.bin or sja1110_switch.bin) can't be finded from the Linux OS on A-core, I can only find sja1110.ko, I think it maybe save in the Flash for SJA1110 itself as default. Then I want to know it support SPI_AP or not as default?

How can I read and write SJA1110's registers from S32G274A's A-core? I try to use the SPI_AP interface, but I don't know what need I to do on S32G274A to realize this.

Hello,

I see the DSA driver from Linux BSP UM, but I am not sure what can I do if I enable DSA driver?

Can I set port mode of SJA1110 dynamicly if I enable DSA driver?

Hello, @yangjinzhuang

Thanks for the questions.

1. As per the description you had found from the BSP UM, the DSA driver could be enabled by:

Then after booting the kernel, you may find that the DSA driver is enabled.

2. PHY management for these ports and port speed adjustment can be done only from SJA1110 firmware, so that I do not think the port mode could be set dynamically from DSA driver itself.

BR
