Dear,

I tried to port PN7150 to PX30 Android8.1, but something happened outside of the documentation
Currently, pn544 is generated under dev/, but after entering the setting, the NFC state is gray and unavailable, and the log prompts an error

I would suggest check the I2C connection. It seems not work.

这边测试波形结果：I2C一直保持高电平起始状态，没有找到从机地址。

Could you give me the following information?

- Using adb tool to log in your android board, and run dmesg to get boot logs, then share it with us.

I would like to check if NFC reader driver has been loaded successfully.

Sorry! I didn't notice your dmesg logs has been attached in the post.

I checked the log, and found NFC reader driver was not correctly loaded due to I2C issue.

Then I checked your device tree:

(1) interrupt-gpios

gpio1 should be No.1 gpio group of your platform, but the concrete GPIO pin was not give here.

for example, assume you are using GPIO1's pin 21 to be interrupt gpio, the line should be like this:

interrupt-gpios = <&gpio1 21 0>;

(2) enable-gpios

Similarly, assume you are using GPIO1's pin 20 to be enable GPIOs.

enable-gpios = <&gpio1 20 0>;

Change your dts, then try!

Hi @chaoxiandandan :

For this error, " [ 14.750091] init: Service 'nxpnfc_hal_svc' (pid 482) killed by signal 6 "

NFC service is killed by Signal 6 in your android system.

Signal 6 is commonly used by libc and other libraries to abort the program in case of critical errors. Since Android 8.1 is quite old, I suspect if there is a mismatch issue in your environment. like the compile tools or other. But I don't have the board to test this issue, sorry.
