      <title>Issue reading registers in u-boot</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, iam using LS1046ARDB eval board,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;An iam working on secure boot,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The procudure to secure boot says : "Verify the SNVS register - HPSR to check whether OTPMK is fused already" by using command md $SNVS_HPSR_REG,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;however when i execute above command in u boot iam getting below message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="courier new,courier" size="2"&gt;md - memory display&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="courier new,courier" size="2"&gt;Usage:&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;FONT face="courier new,courier" size="2"&gt;md [.b, .w, .l, .q] address [# of objects]&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="courier new,courier" size="2"&gt;but, when i read register w.r.t address (eg: md 0x01e80254 0x10) iam able to read it.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="courier new,courier" size="2"&gt;Let me know the exact syntax to read the register by providing register name in the u-boot console.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="courier new,courier" size="2"&gt;Thanks.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;On my LS1046ardb board:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;=&amp;gt; md 0x1e90014&lt;BR /&gt;01e90014: 002b0088 00000080 00000000 00000000 &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;..+.............&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is not inline with the documentation!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;=&amp;gt; md $SNVS_HPSR_REG&lt;BR /&gt;88000900&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So how can we check in u-boot if the OTPMK values are written?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
