Your data sheet says not for use in new designs AFT05MS031, the only part shown is AFT09MS031GN but it looks to be optimized for high VHF anf UHF frequencies but my application is in the region between 40MHz and 60MHz. Will that device operate in that region? If so, what would I need to do to make it work as a class-C amplifier? What typical gain figures could I expect? How much output from a 13.8VDC supply?

Hello,

This device has unmatched input and output allowing wide frequency range utilization.
We have characterized this device for 136-520 MHz frequency range but it can be used at lower frequencies as well. Though we have no reference designs for this band to share.
