We have a Broadcom dual 10GE PHY on our LS1043’s SerDes A and B. Due to having the wrong clocks on the SerDes inputs of our bring-up board (both are 100MHz, no 156.25MHz) we have switched the SerDes protocol mode to 3355 (A & B = SGMIIl, C & D = PCIe). Our board has MDIO wired to EMI2. In the RCW we have bits 425-426 (MDC/MDIO) set to 0b00 so both ports should be active, and we have the proper drive modes for all four of the MDC/MDIO pins chosen correctly.

Hi NXP support team,

Can XFI(10Gps) use SD1_REF_CLK 100Mhz clock instead of 156.25Mhz clock?

Thanks and best regards,

Trend Nguyen
