Hi @UM

As S32E2 is Cortex-R52 based any hypervisor supporting the Cortex-R52 core will work. NXP does not invest in the development of our own Cortex-R52 hypervisor as there is already plenty available on the market but we partnered with Greenhills to use their hypervisor implementation and also with KernKoncept to use their L4RE Hypervisor. However, nobody prohibits a customer to use a completely different vendor. On another side, if a customer does not want to use time-slicing(running multiple virtual machines on a single core) or deal with Cortex-R52 Execution Level 2 space at all we provide the software called EL2 Monitor which handles that space.

Regards,

Lukas
