Hello Sedef,

I would recommend you to take a look at the AN847 which includes the calculations of proper bus termination resistors.

Best regards,

Hi,

I have a similar application with Vdd=3.3V on both sides, and Z0=100R.

Going through the app note, two questions arised:

1) The app note mentions the FAILSAFE bias = 200mV. What is that value with the PCA9614?

2) The app note do not consider 3 resistors on both sides of the cable, while the PCA9614 asks for that. What is the impact?

Best regards.
